ACHILLES TENDONITIS

Is a condition affecting the tendon formed by the calf muscles which inserts into the back of the calcaneus (heel bone). The condition can be graded and can range from mild micro tears to substantial tears in the tendon itself. This condition often affects the middle area of the tendon.

Pain on palpation
